Gemlo: TCG Card Scanner

Know exactly which card you have.

Hold your iPhone over a card. Gemlo reads its number and name, finds the exact print and shows its price, with where it comes from and when.

The right card, or an honest “not sure”.

Coming soon to the App Store

For iPhone with iOS 18 or later. In English, Spanish and Japanese.

What’s inside

Pokémon cards in English and Japanese at launch, with more games to follow, one update at a time.

  • Scan

The camera reads each card on your iPhone as you hold it, card after card. You can also scan a card from a photo you already took.

  • Asks when it isn’t sure

Gemlo names a card only when its number and its name agree. If they don’t, it shows the closest matches, or asks which of two look-alike prints you have.

  • The right print

Normal, holo, reverse holo and the rest: pick the print you own, and its price follows.

  • Honest prices

US prices from JustTCG, or Cardmarket’s prices in Europe, each with its source and date. Prices are looked up, never made up by AI.

  • Your collection

Binders, sets with your progress, every copy’s condition, grade and what you paid, and your collection’s value over time.

  • Yours to keep

Saved from your first card, no sign-up needed. Sign in to bring it to a new iPhone. Import from a CSV, and export one, free.

Your privacy

  • No ads, and we never sell your data.
  • Gemlo reads cards on your iPhone. A photo leaves it only if you ask Gemlo to check a card online: then the photo of that one card goes to our AI provider, after you agree once.
  • Your collection is saved to your Gemlo account from your first card, so it comes back when you sign in on a new iPhone.
  • Analytics, linked to your account and including your IP address and approximate location, help us improve Gemlo. They never include your cards. They’re on by default, wherever you live; you can turn them off in Settings › Privacy. To measure our ads, Meta learns when Gemlo is installed and opened, and when someone subscribes; never what your cards are.
